Dead batteries do not pick good moments
Around here they mostly happen in January, when it drops below zero overnight and a battery that was fine in October suddenly is not. The other half happen in a parking lot because a dome light stayed on for six hours.
Either way it is a short job. We show up with the equipment, get you started, and you are on your way. No tow, no flatbed, no leaving your car overnight somewhere.
We will tell you if the battery is done
A jump gets you running, but it does not answer the real question, which is whether the battery will do this again tomorrow. If it looks like the battery is at the end of its life or the alternator is not charging, we say so, so you can drive straight to a shop instead of finding out again in a worse spot.
What to have ready when you call
- Where you are, as exactly as you can manage. A cross street, a business name, a mile marker
- The make, model and year
- Whether the car is somewhere a truck can safely pull alongside
- Whether anything happened before it died, like lights dimming or a burning smell

Can you jump start a car in a parking garage?
Usually yes. Tell us it is a garage when you call so we send a truck that fits the clearance.
What if the jump does not hold?
Then the problem is the battery or the charging system, not the charge. At that point we can tow you to a shop rather than leave you to find out on the highway.
Do you replace batteries?
We do not sell batteries. We get you started and, if it is clearly finished, get you to a place that does.
