No lecture, just the door open

Nobody locks their keys in the car on purpose, and it is almost never the same twice. Groceries in both arms. A kid in a car seat. A remote start that locked itself while the engine ran. We open the door and you get on with your day.

Kid or pet locked inside? Call 911 first

If there is a child or an animal in the car, especially in summer heat or a cold snap, call 911 before you call us. Emergency services get there faster and can open it immediately. Then call us if you still need help with the vehicle.

What we can and cannot do

• We open locked vehicles using proper lockout tools, not a coat hanger
• We do not cut new keys or program fobs, that is a locksmith or dealer job
• We will ask you to show that the vehicle is yours. Registration, insurance card, or a matching ID address is fine
• If the car is running while locked, tell us on the phone, it moves you up the list

If the key is lost rather than locked in

Different problem. If the key is gone entirely you need a locksmith or a dealer, and often the car needs to get to them. That is a tow, and we can handle that end of it.
